HI,

Setup Zoneminder yesterday and was pretty easy. thought is was going to take days :).

Its running on FC4. Only problem I have is that its running in a zmware session and vmware does not support streaming over its USB devices (Bastards). So have bought a Panasonic BLC10 network camera so I can test.

Ok now to my question (Please forgive me I don't know much about video capture), if I wanted to record good quality video through ZoneMinder I would need a video capture card right like the Spectra8?

Would this card support lets say 4 Panasonic BLC10 network cameras or do I need cameras that come into the bnc connectors?

Thnaks

the blc10 is an ip camera and as such doesnt need a capture card. If you want to use 'composite' cameras you will need something to get the images into the pc (a capture card) if your using just blc10's then you dont need a capture card at all
