Hi,

I am a newbie in this topic, and would like you to ask you guys, is it posible to have motion detection in zoneminder turning the lights on and play some dog barking audio if there is intruder just about to come in the yard? if yes, do you know what equipments should i have to make it happen?

You can receive and transmit events via X.10 with ZM if you have that kind of equipment. There is also an xAP interface in the contributed forum if you use that. Failing that you may have to adapt the zmtrigger.pl script to interface using your desired method depending on what you want to use to do your switching.
