Anyone up for swapping FTP space for events?

Please read both parts of this post before responding.
1) Ultimately, the goal would be to swap FTP space with someone to store events offsite incase the ZM computer was stolen/burned/water damage/etc. So, would anyone be up for this? I have a fast internet connection (6mbit down, 768k/up), and have plenty of storage.
2) The security of this. What issues would there be for doing this? Obviously, I don't want some stranger looking at my daily activities (granted, it's just my house - but it is MY house).
Are there any ways to _quickly_ encrypt the jpeg before being ftp'd or sent? I don't know how this would work, but perhaps have the events directory Sync'd to a remote host with some other software? This software would also have to run some sort of encryption.
In the, hopefully, unlikely event I need to get my pictures, I'll need to be able to decrypt these images from another computer...maybe even windoze.
Any suggestions? Has this been covered already? Anyone willing to swap FTP space?
OR.. Anyone know of a CHEAP internet host with lots of storage?
