JPEG Events TO MPEG file

Someone know how to configure ffmpeg correctly? Because I installed it, but a grey screen show...Thank's. My hard Disk is crowded whit jpg images...help-me, please...

Mine worked out of the box with 1.22.
What distro are you using?
What version of ffmpeg?
Anything in the logs?
