Search in pictures/events

Post by NiGlim »

Hi all!
Sometimes I´l like to know when a particular thing, product or something where moved in a camera view. There are hundreds of events and I have to look at every single one.

I have done a “light_not_workin_so_very_good” solution for this where I have a monitor with file as source an path it to a /test/ directory. Then I have a .sh script that copies *0000-capture.jpg +1 from /var/www/zm/events/monitorid/something/* to /test/000.jpg. In this monitor I have specified a Zone where the thing, product or someting where before.

I would like to do this with the database and a Search zone for the monitor with xcoord and ycoord in blob mode?

I hope you understand my goal with this?

Thanks!

I'm not sure I completely understand what you want. In 1.22.1 the zone that triggered the alarm is recorded in the event notes field so if you define one or more zones that correspond to areas that yhou want to monitor then you can filter on this field to find events that match. Does that help at all?

Good idéa, rerun a set of events (perhaps filtered to show only one preset-position from a PTZ) but with a new alarmzone that only covers a small area instead of the alarmzones used for triggering the event in the first place.
It would be nice to have for instance if you want to see when a particular car leaves or enters a parkinglot
