What Can ZM DO?

OK I want to start off saying that I am a newbie when it comes to ZM. I do think that this software rocks. I have a few questions that I would like to ask. I am embarrassed that I cannot find this information by myself.
Questions:
1. I want to record only movement so I would use Mocord right? How can I view these events?
2. What directory do these files go into?
3. How long can I keep these recordings?
I will have more questions but thanks to whoever helps me out.

Most of it should be in the README but it may take a little while to find it.

You would probably want to start with Modect mode. This is straight motion detection and so only records at those times. Mocord is permanently recording but also identifying motion with the continuous event. You can view the events from various places on the web interface.

By default they go into a directory called 'events' under the web root of wherever you install ZM, e.g. /var/www/html/events. Under that is a directory for each monitor/camera and the events themsevles are under there. Normally you do not need to have any involvement with the files directly.

For as long as you like, disk space permitting. You can set ZM up to delete them after a certain period or when your disk gets full etc. Or you can mark some events as to be permanently kept. You can also upload or export the files via ftp etc to another machine.
