zmconfig.pl

Post by ELWIS »

Hy.... i'm a spanish speaker and I have a doubt. I've been following the documentation in Spanish translated by Mauricio Enriquez. Everything is going OK... but when I need to give execute privileges to the file "zmconfig.pl" I can't find it in the folder:

Code: Select all

9) Dentro del directorio 'zm-0.9.8' ejecutar el siguiente comando (como usuario root):

	'#chmod +x zmconfig.pl'

Esto le dará permisos de ejecución al archivo.
I'm installing ZoneMInder 1.22.1 in Fedora Core 3.

my questions are:

1.- Is this file, or installation step, no longer needed to install succesfully ZoneMinder??
2.- If is not needed the file: What is the next task to do ??

Thank you for answering

Yes, this is no longer required. Unfortunately I can't answer your question in Spanish but the English instructions are in the README.
