Hi All!!
I'm newer to use Zoneminder and now i have a question...
i've Zoneminder 1.22.2 installed in a computer with 1100 MHz processor and RAM 1 Gb and configured for use 4 analogic camera connect to a Axis 2400 Video Server.
But now any time appears a strange error in /var/log/messages :
"INF [cam1: 232 - Gone into alert state]"
"INf [cam1: 233 - Gone back into alarm state]"
and
"ERR [zmc -m <n°id-cam> exited abnormally, exit status 255]"
"INF [Found open event '<n°event>']"
"INF closing"
What is this???
I've read that this error is associated with new introdoucing variable "Alarm Maximum Fps" setting for every cam...is it true??
thanks for help!!
More specifications about my problem ....

i've meet similar error as you but i don't resolve it yet....& you?
I also look that the event of cams aren't be regular and not be equal to variable SECTION_LENGTH of cams....it's more strange thing...why???

Are you using mocord/record?
And what values do you have in max fps and alarm fps?

i use:
-) mode: RECORD
-) max Fps: 1.00
-) max alarm Fps: nothing or other values

enter a value of 1 in alarm fps shouldnt make a difference. If your using record mode, can you list a few actual section length times

Section Length is 600....
but...you would a part of event list??
Posted: Wed Jun 14, 2006 12:30 pm
by jameswilson
yeah, if you have a section length of 600 and record your events should be approx 600 long, if therfe not we need to look as to why, How long are your events then?

the event length is more variable....any event's length is -1, other event's length is more large of 600 and so much...it seems that create event alternate length -1 and more of 600....

zma gone into alarm state because zmc lost any frame in capture video???But why if i've 1 camera or 10 cameras in record mode, zmc lost frame??? Monitoring process with top utility result that machine load average start at 5.3 and go up until 10...12 and also 15 !!!
...why??
i hope that i explain well my question....

i dont like the 'r' this means they have been recovered and all is not well. Also a load of 15 is not gpood, id try making it smaller and setting all cams but one to none and set 1 cam as record and see what happen then

now with 10 cameras have a load average of 8.5....now i set only 1 camera to record and other to none...i say you between little
