btv green screen

Post by stealth »

After giving up on ZM+Gentoo Im trying this liveCD. I added the options bttv tuner=-1 card=102,102,102,102,102,102,102,102 in /etc/modprobe.conf which did work in tvtime/xawtv in Gentoo, but now all I get are icons on the desktop and half a green screen, the other half it seems part of a broken image of the cam.. :?:

note... I was able to edit the file since i installed it to hd... couldent seem to unprobe the modules correctly to reprobe bttv with the right card options, so.. i installed to hd, edited the modprobe.conf file, and restarted...

Yes the new ZMliveCD_1.22.2 has a 2.6.16.17 kernel so kodicom cards will (I hope) be well supported, though I do not have one to test yet.
