Hi,
Anyone with a webcam with a ov511 chipset?
I wrote a utility for configuring such a device but currently don't have one. So I was hoping someone could give it a try for me, to see if it works.
It can be downloaded from:
http://www.vanheusden.com/setov511/
The output of:
setov511 -p
would already be very helpfull.
Please send your findings to zm@vanheusden.com as I'm not on this list.
Thank you.

Re: ov511 chipset?
Hi Folkert,
I have an OV511 cam and have downloaded your app. The output from setov511 -p gives me the following,
> ./setov511 -d /dev/video0 -p
setov511, (C) 2003 by folkert@vanheusden.com
Reading from device /dev/video0:
Error while doing ioctl OV511IOC_GUINT: Invalid argument
Light frequency: 3
Error while doing ioctl OV511IOC_GUINT: Invalid argument
Band filter: 3
Error while doing ioctl OV511IOC_GUINT: Invalid argument
Led policy: unknown: 3
Error while doing ioctl OV511IOC_GUINT: Invalid argument
Driver debug: 3
Error while doing ioctl OV511IOC_GUINT: Invalid argument
Compression: 3
I also tried adding the -v option as -h suggests it might be verbose but ut complains it's an invalid option.
I haven't tried any of the other options as I'm not sure what they are supposed to do.
