Hi,

I am seeking advice as to how to setup an analog CCTV camera to work over a WiFi link. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Mike

One solution would be to buy an analogue-digital converter like http://www.axis.com/products/video/video_server/

Then the signal is digital and can be shunted around a normal computer network using wireless, wired or a combination. These video servers act like a basic web server providing you with an image stream in mjpeg.

Depending on the camera, you may find it cheaper to simply replace the analogue with a digital one.

There's probably a simpler analogue-only method, but my specialism is ip cams, so you get a digital answer from me. :)

YOu can get analougr wreless tx/rx that will give you 1500m (more depedning on airials and tx power) but they are not WiFi. If you need wifi thne you need to encode it firs then put it on you r wifi network
