reinstallation trouble

Hi,
I had 1.22.1 installed and running but needed to upgrade to 1.22.2 since my 4400R needed the "extra 4 to 15 channels" .
Anyway, I followed the upgrade instructions but I did not get the extra channels option in the monitor source channel select drop down menu...so I figured...OK I´ll reinstall from scratch. so I did make uninstall, make clean and dropped the zm database in mysql. I also saw that there was some zm "leftovers" in the /var/www/html directory so I deleted them as well..

Now I installed following the 1.22.2 documentation and now I get the loginproblem several posts talk about. admin/admin wont let me in.

I even reran the whole install procedure adding --disable-ZM_OPT_USE_AUTH hoping to skip the login procedure, but no it is still appearing.

As I stated earlier i have had both 1.21 and 1.22.1 running on the same server whith same Centos 4 distr etc. so there must be something ZM related but I can´´t se it..

Please help

Regards

Rikard

Solved it,
the uninstall failed to unlink alot of perl, had to do it manually. After that and with authentication disabled I´m back on track...
and with the 15 channels my 4400R needs. :D

But now the whole server hangs after a few minutes with five cameras monitoring (no capture) :(

Will search the forum first...

Assuming you refer to the server freezing i managed to se a message from bttv saying something about overflow and in combination with that kernel bug "bad magic on cpu1" -or similar

This is a 2CPU Athlon TYAN board which I believe have AMD chipset.

I find that altering cameras (for instance disconnecting and reconnecting) makes this happen faster.
