I am using ZoneMinder and when I use live view there are 20s of delay.
what should I do to minimise this time?
How should I optimise Zoneminder to view video from the net?
ZoneMinder erase all event what I have to do to erase only the last one?
Thankyou
Delay on the live view

if your using mpeg then that is buffering and there is nothing we can do about it. I dont know what your last question means

Hi.
With internet broadcasting you have two ways.
1 - with Zoneminder
2 - With ffmpeg ONLY.
With Zoneminder you can use the default jpeg streaming which is very slow, or you can use a flash (SWF) format. also mpeg works, but there is a lot more delay.
To use flash in zoneminder, you should add swf in the list of supported formats and swf also in live view and playback. i am sucessfully viewing two cameras from the net at 7 FPS each one. and delay is about 3 sec. The delay should increase with more time watching.
If you only want to stream and not to record, you can use only ffmpeg to take video from source, encode and stream it. In this way you can use a lot of codecs and have a good quality, sometimes with sound.
