hi folks

i've installed live CD on my PC and it looks great!!!

my question is how to make liveCD run faster?

1)i've boot it up on init3 to disable KDE and save some resources
2)i saw some unrelated services like CUPSD running, can i disable it?
what other services i can disable to save ram and cpu resources?
i actually only want to run services related to ZM.

3)any other methods i can speed up the server?

thanks a lot

Can you turn them off ? Yes. Will this speed up the system? No

I suggest "man xinetd" for some insight into the efficient way linux uses resources to provide these services without slowing anything down.
