axis 211

has anyone found any cheap(er than usual) axis vendors in the uk. i found a couple of threads where people claim they've found the axis 221 for 400-450 GBP, but the cheapest i've managed to find them for is about 650 GBP

the cheapest i know of is about £600 i cant see anyone selling them for less than that as its an expensive camera

that's what i thought, but then i was searching the forums to see what people thought of them in general and i found these references to much lower prices.

you could get the 211 for that but not the 221

This looks like a good spot for this. I need to add a camera outdoors, and I'm wondering which Axis to get. 211 and 221 seem to differ only in lower lux, .75 vs .65. Is that worth the extra cost? While we're discussing lux, the 211M (1024x768 version) starts at 1.0.

Couldn't find a good photo from the angle it actually needs to be, but this is a night shot from a different angle.

The objective is probably to catch people jumping out of the basket.

Any suggestions on which one?
