Anyone got any idea what the legal situation for doing that is in the uk?

I've been told I need to plaster CCTV warning signs everywhere for my cameras, which is fine - they're a deterrant after all. But for covert survaillance like this, what's the situation?

Is it legal?

Is it admissable?

legally if you hgave na internal issue here in the uk you need police approval to use coverts without signs.

But why dont you just put a camera outside or in reception etc and a couple of signs saying covert cctv operating throughout

if you dont do it properly the evidence 'may' be inadmissable but if theyu plead guilty it wont matter
