Hi guys,

I finally managed to build and install it. I got the ****ing Logitech QuickCam Zoom working with xawtv. Configured it also in Zoneminder, my final camera's are still to be shipped.
But when I try to start zoneminder via the console it always shows stopped.

Anyone knows why?

what happens when you type

service zm start?

also whats in your logs

have you build this or is it on one of the zm distros

Found something I guess:

I build it myself on Fedora Core 6. It is not a distro.

Turn off SELinux.

Yes, that helped, the application now shows running and I can click on the name of the camera.. A window pops up with the name of the camera, however there is a small pictogram with a red X in it and no image to be seen

The entry 0x7a6d2001 is the one for ZoneMinder. However the odd thing is that compared with the rest the NATTCH=0 and Status=blank does not correspond with the rest???

I suspect him to have the same kind of problem. I have put the image size 640x480 and RGB24

I do not have a clue what it means but at least it is odd.
