Hi!

My question is: can ZM record event and transmit them remotelly in playback in MPEG4 format in order to save space on HardDisk? Save event in jpeg format is the only method?

If I have 1 cam at 20 FPS with resolution nearly 600x400, how many gigaByte of hard disk I need for 1 hour of recording? can anyone give me this information?

I want to place in a ZM box 16 cam with 20 FPS and resolution 600x400, with an hard disk of 400 GB, and recording continouslly, in RECORD mode. How many hors can I record before rewrite old events?

Thanks to anyone that colude help me, and sorry for my english... :-(

Yes in that ZM saves events only in jpeg, mpeg is too lossy and does not hold as much detail as jpeg. You can save mpeg along side of the jpeg and for archival export the mpeg files but all events are stored as jpeg for its detail.
