Remote camera - Wot? - No picture!!

Post by dave_d »

I've been away from ZoneMinder for a couple of releases due to pressure of other work - but I've found time to carry on the good works!

I've sucessfully installed 0.9.16 on a Slackware 9.1 box using an IVG-200 card. (detailed notes on how to do this are available - perhaps Phil would like to post them?). I've also been loaned a DLink DCS-1000 camera with network interface to play with.

Getting standard cameras to work on the video card was no real problem. The network camera, on the other hand, is proving to be a bit of a nightmare.

I get the following entries in /var/log/messages:

I've tried all the suggestions I've seen in the forums that might be relevant - all to no avail.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on her? - or is it back to debugging mode again??!!!

Regards,

Dave
