I have this bttv card.. http://www.jasonh.vispa.com/Card_Front.jpg

Ive tried a few card= options with bttv module, 171, 141, 77 ...
I either keep getting a broken image in the monitor. Once i got a purple screen. Each time I get shared memory errors in the logs...
what is the proper way to set this card up? I know my cam works too. hooked it up to my tv (composite cam)

I had to compile i2c-algo-bit as a module and specify bit_test=1 or bttv module would take forever to load all 8 video devices..

livecd I get a blue screen but no image.

I can provide more info if necessary...

The shared memory issues are unlikely to be related to the card, check the FAQ and the README for instructions on increasing the amount of memory assigned to it.
