hi!

i've configured 1.22.3 in a ubuntu server.

with any of 3 different cams i can't get more than 1.50 fps.

cpu usage is low and this is the output of hdparm:

Code: Select all

# hdparm -tT /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
 Timing cached reads: 420 MB in 2.00 seconds = 209.61 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 74 MB in 3.04 seconds = 24.37 MB/sec
what can i do for increasing FPS? where is the bottleneck?

regards[/code]

I suspect the capture card. What are you using to capture the cameras?

sorry, i forget to say i'm accessing network cameras.

all of three can achieve 25fps, but 10 is enough for me

what network cams and i assume at that framerate your using jpeg grabs. I used a 206 that can do 25 fps on jpg grabs so i know zm is up to it. My early supposition is that your cams can not

the cameras are:

- axis 2100

- pixord 201p

- conceptronic cnetcam

i've changed the computer and now i can get 8 fps but seems that i've reached some internal limit.

i've tried to set any fps limitation to a higher value but no success, is there any limitation of 8 fps?
