What hardware are your using?
What distro and Release?
What are your settings?
How can we duplicate?

Using ZmLivecd with zm1.22.2 on it

Cheap pico2000 similar card

4 monitors on /dev/video0 from channel 0 to 3

preset 320x240 bttv rgb24 5fps

Click on monitor (2) /dev/video0(1) and it displays 40fps and sometimes 20fps with flickers from another cameras (unfortunally i don`t have more than one camera to test here in my home) but doesn`t matter wich monitor i put the camera and i still get few images from it ... like if i put in chan0, 2 or 3 i can these images in channel 1, maybe a few 3 or 4 frames in a sec.

Configuration
/etc/modprobe.conf For one card:
options bttv card=77 tuner=-1 radio=0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0
For two cards:
options bttv card=77,77 tuner=-1,-1 radio=0,0 triton1=0 vsfx=0 autoload=0

If it do not work, see the modprobe file and drop down "blacklistauidio".
I have same capture. It give 2fps when I connect 4 cameras.
When you make resolution, frame or color change you need to restart ZoneMinder.
(Please see your bandwidth)
sorry for my bad english!!!
