Guys,

I just setup a system yesterday, and when i was locally, changed apache port to 8080 and flushed iptables.

I think the system was reboot during the night due to a power failure, but now i can access it via ssh, etc but not from web.

Can someone tell me where's the iptables startup script located and how can i open the system completely like ALL ports ? or at least port 8080

Thanks

Taz

Hey Taz - Don't know if I can help you except relate my problem and its fix. As far as I know - port 80 is the only port that needs to be opened for the zm box to work. I had a similar problem that turned out to be the router setup that was only fixable with replacing my router. You may not need to do that - but the only way I ever got it to work was by doing just that, even tho i was forwarding port 80 in the setup of first router...

Here is the link to the posts - http://www.zoneminder.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8186

I had practically given up and as Cordel stated its not my zm box - it was my router setup . Also check out www.portforward.com site . It has good info.
Good luck , Solaris
