Web Interface Slow

I am accessing ZoneMinder running on a dedicated machine on the local network. However, many of the screens are very slow. I am running 0.9.15 on RedHat 8.0. I have taken UTF-8 out of /etc/sysconfig/i18n.

For instance, when I first access the page, and click "Add a monitor". After clicking "Save", the next screen either takes forever to come back up, or doesn't come up at all. Can you think of why this may be hanging? I accepted most of the defaults during zmconfig.pl.
