What distro?
uname -r
How did you configure the card?
dmesg |grep bttv
If you edited the mod file what did you add?
cat /etc/modprobe.conf |grep bttv

does anyone know what this means?

[ 8994.210968] bttv0: PLL: 28636363 => 35468950 .. ok
[ 8994.453901] bttv0: PLL can sleep, using XTAL (28636363).

And why is it repeating several times a second?

Done a reformat, and this doesn't happen until ZM 1.22.3 is installed. Has no-one seen this before?
