Is there a way to set the recording FPS? I would like to record at 5 FPS. I have the Maximum FPS set to 5.00. However, when a zone alarm is triggered, it keeps jumping up to 20-25 FPS.

Control FPS
Re: Control FPS
I see under options, there is a "Should we override Maximum FPS?" or something like that. That is not checked. I am testing by "Force Alarm", does that not follow those rules?

Re: Control FPS
Hi Ryan,
Do you mean ZM_NO_MAX_FPS_ON_ALARM? If so then this should prevent the FPS increasing when an alarm occurs? I don't think force alarm makes any difference to that.
I will try and see if there is a problem somewhere.
Cheers,

Re: Control FPS
i think he talk about ftp recording.. not streaming
Re: Control FPS
I'm talking about recording to the hard drive. If I click "force alarm", then it jumped to capturing at 25fps.

Re: Control FPS
Hi Ryan,
As I said above, this is controlled by the ZM_NO_MAX_FPS_ON_ALARM option. You mentioned it was unchecked but I'm wondering if there is a problem perhaps with the value held in the database.
Are you able to check your DB and see what the information held for this option is in the Config table? If you need any assistance please let me know.
