Can someone explain for me as i'm stuck on a technicality.

Inbuilt IR camera with the ring of lamps round the lens seem a bad choice cos of the spider problem (yes we have it).

If I buy a separate lamp, which type of camera will work in 'night vision mode'. Is it just a normal low light one?

PS: Any recommendation for above in the UK, wired type, with PTZ would also be appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
Most any Black/White cam will support the use of IR. Of coarse the lower the lux value the better the performance.
Should work with any dual mode cam as well (color during the day and B/W at night.
