stuck in an alerted state

Our ZM is setting stuck in an alerted state and isnt saving any images.

The only way to fix this is by doing this:
mysqlcheck --all-databases --auto-repair -p

This is strange because the database doesnt appear to have anything wrong with it and then it will only save a few more events before locking up again.

its possible your zone settings are too sensitive and it in fact never leaves alert state, make a note of your current zone setting and edit them to drop the sensitity

No, I suspect that it is worse. It has only just started to behave this badly... after months of running just fine.
