Hi,
in my setup events are finally created, but there arent't any pictures of them.
In syslog I see those error messages:

zma-m3[22384]: ERR [Can't make events: Permission denied]
zma-m3[22384]: ERR [Can't make events/New: No such file or directory]

The events dir has 775 permissions and is owned by the apache user.
There are some other odd messages in /tmp/zmaudit.log:
One line like
Filesystem monitor '[file/dir]' does not exist in database, deleting
for each file/dir in the htdocs dir (not the zoneminder dir), as well as
Database monitor 'New' does not exist in filesystem, deleting
where New is the name of the monitor.

Does anyone have a hint for me on how to get this running?

Hi Frank,

The logs indicate that zma can't make the 'events' directory but you also mentioned that it already exists. It would seem that ZM thinks it should be somewhere else other than where you think. Maybe check the paths and just make sure they are correct. ZM will normally try and create the events directory under the web root unless otherwise indicated.
